Description
Born in California, the Clif Bar has become the go-to bar for cyclists, runners and hikers. Its recipe based on rolled oats and rice and tapioca syrups provides carbohydrates for long efforts, in a chewy, filling 68 g bar.
Each Chocolate Chip bar provides 38 g of carbohydrate, 10.2 g of protein from soy (soy crisps, roasted soybeans) and 5.4 g of fibre: a bar high in fibre and a source of protein. Protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass.
The recipe contains 70% organic ingredients, with rolled oats, roasted soybeans and unsweetened chocolate. The Chocolate Chip recipe contains no ingredients of animal origin.
Seven flavours to choose from, from Chocolate Chip to Crunchy Peanut Butter, Blueberry Crisp and White Chocolate Macadamia. Ideal before a long ride or run, during exercise with water, or as a snack on busy days, as a single bar or in a box of 12.
