Description
OstroVit Vitargo is a powdered food supplement providing carbohydrates in the form of Vitargo® starch, a patented high molecular weight starch. It is designed for endurance and strength athletes who want to cover their carbohydrate needs around training: running, cycling, triathlon, team sports, weight training.
One 75 g serving (6 scoops) provides 68 g of carbohydrate, 0 g of sugars, 0 g of fat and 0 g of protein. Carbohydrates contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 130 g of carbohydrates from all sources.
Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours following such exercise. Intended for adults who have performed highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise.
Three versions: Mango and Strawberry, sweetened with sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K, no aspartame), or Neutral, made of Vitargo® starch only, to mix into another drink. Available in a 1000 g tub (13 servings) or a 2000 g tub (26 servings).

VITARGO® starch, acidity regulator (citric acid), colour (carotenes), flavouring, sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K). Strawberry: beetroot juice concentrate powder instead of carotenes. Neutral: VITARGO® starch only.

Directions for use
Mix one 75 g serving (6 scoops) with 200 ml of water in a shaker for 1 to 2 minutes until fully dissolved, then top up with water to 700 ml. Drink immediately after preparation.
2 servings a day, preferably during and right after training.
Recommended daily dose: 2 servings (150 g). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
