Adequate intake of minerals is essential for the human body. Iron is one of the most important minerals because it fulfills many functions in our body. Amongst athletes, iron requirements are often higher, which is why one must pay special attention to an adequate intake. If the body is not getting enough iron, it can lead to iron deficiency. Iron deficiency can cause fatigue, rapid heartbeat, headaches, or anaemia in more severe cases. To tackle iron deficiency, we use high-dose capsules containing 40 mg of iron, which corresponds to an NRV of 286%!
Our product also contains rosehip extract, which provides natural vitamin C. Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron. It is therefore an extremely important and essential additive in the product. Besides, the product is 100% vegan, the envelope of the capsule used is made of cellulose.
Ingredients
Iron bisglycinate, filler (microcrystalline cellulose, carboxyl cellulose), hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose (capsule), rose hip extract, anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids), color (E 171).
